system below involves a main and back up peristaltic pump for
metering. Why peristaltic? Answer: They are sealless, have no
metallic wetted parts to corrode, do not get air bound/loose

Other features of the system are:

Non-corrosive yet durable polyethylene construction
Secondary containment with provisions for drainage
upon extreme high level
Pumps are protected from spills by being elevated on
pedestals
Pumps are controlled by digital display controllers that
accept 4-20mA as well as 0-10 VDC Input Control
Signals. Pumps can be operated in manual or automatic
modes
Leak detection/no-flow detection with automatic primary
pump shut off, secondary pump activation and contact
closures for annunciation or to call an auto dialer.
Hoses are securely integrated to the PVC hard piping
though the use of compression fittings.
