| Gilmont Laboratory Flowmeters Barnant Gilmont Flowmeters for the accurate measure of air, gas and liquid flowrates. Available in several design con- figurations. The air or gas flow measurement range is between 0.02 ml/min to 675 LPM. The liquid measurement range is be- tween 0.0002 ml/min to 20 LPM. Correlated flowmeters have a high accuracy of +/- 2%. The materials of construction are glass and PTFE for excellent chemical compatibility. Barnant Gilmont Flowmeters are available in unshielded, shielded, direct reading and correlated reading designs. Flowmeter NIST Certification Gilmont also supplies certification of flowmeters per NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). The unshielded flowmeter design is utilized in low pressure applications. The absence of shielding results in a compact narrow diameter design. The shielded flowmeter design is used in high pressure applications. The clear polycarbonate shielding that surrounds the glass tube protects the flowmeter from physical damage and reinforces the glass tube for added strength. Although the flowmeter is shielded the only wetted components in a flowmeter fitted with coupling adapters are the PTFE body, Viton Elastomers and Borosilicate Glass Tube. For more precise control the shielded flowmeters can be fitted with capillary valves that can be adjusted from 0.1 to 100% of maximum flow. The direct reading flowmeter design eliminates the need for calibration curves. Accuracy is +/-5% or 2mm of scale length, whichever is greater. The correlated flowmeter designs are used when the greatest accuracy is required. The accuracy of these flowmeters is +/- 2% of reading or +/- 1 scale increment, whichever is greater.
