Barnant located in Barrington, IL supplies the Etatron line of electronic metering pumps. The Barnant Etatron electronic metring pump also has several options that include onboard application specific controllers. Etatron pumps have the following features:
The pumps can be run dry and are capable of pumping mixed (liquid/vapor) flow.
The pumps will pull a 28 ft suction lift.
There are no valves and the only wetted parts are the hose and connection nozzles.
Maintenance is done in place and takes anywhere between 10 and 40 minutes to complete a typical rebuild. This will depend upon the pump model and the experience level of the millwright.
The pumps are reversible.
The pumps impart very low shear to the pumped fluid.
The pumps can handle thin and thick pumpages (up to 35,000 cps).
The discharge pressure capability of the pumps will range from 30 to 220 psi.
There is a broad spectrum of materials available for the wetted portion (the hose and connectors). The wetted material for the pump can be changed easily and inexpensively. Check our Masterflex Chemical Compatibility Guide.
Some options include control input/output capability, variable speed drives and leak detectors.
Tubing includes a variety of elastomers for industrial use, food grade tubing and pharmaceutical biopharm grade tubing for ultrapure services.
